Sgt. Clifford E. DeCamp

The 21 year old Paratrooper died from battle wounds in Belgium as a member of the 82 ^nd Airborne Division 504 ^th Battalion.

Serving through Africa, he jumped into battle in the Sicilian invasion and again at Anzio. His outfit gained special mention for its stand against Germans in the mountains in Italy and then was sent to England.

It took part in the drive through France, from the D-Day on and has been in the news frequently. A letter was recently received written two days before he was killed.
