Lt. Howard F. Fiecoat

His B-24 Bomber was criticaly damaged while on his 36 ^th mission. Lt. Fiecoat successfully parachuted with 4 other members of his crew. One would get shot by civilians as his chute neared the ground. Lt Fiecoat and the other three were captured. Lt. Fiecoat was executed by his civilian captors before being turned over to the German military, while the other three eventually made it back to American hands.
