Thank you for visiting the web site of the Harrison County Clerk of Courts Office. I am your Clerk, Leslie A. Milliken and wish to welcome you. My Deputy Clerks and I are here to serve you in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner. You are not an interruption to our daily work but rather the purpose of our daily work.

In my capacity as Clerk of Courts, I administer the Legal Division and Title Division and serves as the Clerk for the 7th District Court of Appeals for Harrison County. I am the "keeper of the records" of the Harrison County Common Pleas Court and the Court of Appeals. There are more than 310 sections of the Ohio Revised Code dealing with duties of the county clerk of courts. I am responsible for recording all the paperwork filed through the court, I keep the records on civil, domestic and felony criminal cases and collect money for court costs. I have the authority to administer oaths, take and certify affidavits. My office also has 3 Deputy Clerks who serve as passport agent for the federal government. I administers all titled vehicles in Harrison County through the Title Division. I am also the Deputy Registrar for the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, which makes it possible to title a vehicle and receive the license plates in a “One Stop Shop”.
